Sahil was born in a middle class working family. His father was a government servant and mother was a housewife. Sahil did his schooling and college from Christian school and college. He finished his post- graduation in Political Science in 1985 from Ranchi University.
He moved to U.S. in February of 2003. After working with Walmart for a year in 2004, he decided to choose banking as a career and joined Yardville National Bank in 2004. The bank was sold to PNC Bank in 2008. In November of 2011 Sahil moved to Santander Bank, N.A. and was posted as Branch Manager for Bensalem branch in February of 2013. Since then he has been helping customers to plan and achieve their financial goals.
Sahil acknowledges that one of his childhood dreams was fulfilled in 2018 when he became a member of the Lions Club. Since then he has been giving back to the community, the true to the purpose of Lionism. “To create and foster a spirit of understanding among people of the world. To promote the principles of good government and good citizenship. To take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.”
